The Qatari Football Association (QFA) congratulated Al Ahly SC on winning the eighth CAF Super Cup title in the club’s history.

The association tweeted on their official Twitter account:

“Congratulations to Al Ahly on winning the Total Energies CAF Super Cup for the 8th time!”

Al Ahly players lifted the CAF Super Cup trophy on Wednesday after defeating Raja Casablanca of Morocco 6-5 on penalties after being held to a 1-1 draw at full-time in Doha.
